2015 PDE Migrant Education Program and English as a Second Language Conference
Education without Borders
November 16-18, 2015; Harrisburg, Pa.
During this conference, participants will learn promising practices for schools to ensure school success for migrant students, methods to build capacity and support literacy development, parent engagement strategies, educational and support services addressing migrant students’ special needs, and strategies for identification and recruitment of migrant students.
Instructors for English language learners, personnel in school districts, intermediate unit, private school, charter school, non-public school, and career and technical center personnel, parents, community organizations and agencies, and Migrant Education Program staff are encouraged to attend.
